About Us

Katie Wilson and her husband, Kyle, are the new owners of Spaulding Decon, a business with more than 20 years of history in specialty remediation. Since acquiring the company in December 2025, they’ve run the flagship Tampa operation and led its franchise network, with locations in multiple states.

Spaulding Decon specializes in biohazard and hoarding remediation: trauma and crime scene cleanup, unattended death, blood and bodily fluid cleanup, and hoarded homes that need to be safely cleared and restored. The company also handles water and storm damage, mold remediation, and drug lab and residue cleanup.

Katie holds IICRC certifications in Water Damage Restoration (WRT), Trauma and Crime Scene Technician (TCST), and Odor Control (OCT), and has passed the Florida mold remediator exam. She works hands-on in the business, from field standards and technician training to building the systems that help franchisees run profitable, well-managed locations.
