CABA is continuing to look for impactful ways to engage and include our CABA members with our new virtual networking capacity, and we have created a new CABA platform for knowledge exchange and information sharing. 

Join us Tuesday September 8th as Deborah Glover-Pearcey of Estate Law 2 Go and 

Doug Fishman Of Edward Jones Financial will discuss Scripting your Family's Future and why you need an estate plan!

  • Protect your spouse, children, parents and other family by taking some essential steps in creating your legacy.

Please join us as we go through some common scenarios to help your family through a very stressful time.
 
Attorney Deborah Glover-Pearcey has over thirty (30) years of legal experience. She graduated from Florida A&M University with a degree in criminal justice, attended University of Virginia Law School Pre-Law Program, and graduated from Florida State Law School in 1988. 
While in law school she worked with the FSU Dispute Resolution Program in conjunction with the Florida Supreme Court where she drafted legislation leading to implementation of the Florida Mediation and Arbitration rules. She became a certified mediator and arbitrator while in law school. 

Based on faith, she went into private practice immediately after law school.
Throughout her career, she has handled various types of cases and represented individuals, corporations, and government agencies.  She is a former Adjunct Professor for Stetson Law School, former Attorney for City of St. Petersburg, City of Tampa, and Kash n’ Karry Food Stores. She is a skilled litigator and trial attorney in State and Federal Courts.
She is a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Sections of the Florida Bar, George Edgecomb Bar Association, Carrollwood Area Business Association (CABA), Carrollwood Bar Association, and Carrollwood Kiwanis. 
 
Her volunteer services include Mayor’s Mentor, School Mentor, helping children through Kiwanis, Substitute Teacher and Legal Ministry Coordinator for Bible-Based Fellowship Church. She has a passion for helping families affected by cancer and other serious illnesses and diseases as part of her estate planning and probate practice. She is married and has two adult children.

Originally from Cleveland, OH, Doug and his wife and moved to
Tampa in 2004.  He has a 13-year-old son.  Professionally, he started his financial career at Paine Webber in 1996 and joined Edward Jones in 2016 with an office located in North Tampa.
